These neat and crisp paper flowers have been made from small circles cut out of paper, and hence the name! Easy to make and very beautiful to decorate your greeting cards or gifts or any other use you would like to put them. Learn how to make them below:
Material required:
- Paper - in any colors/patterns you like. Papers with pattern on both sides will be added advantage (you will get to know below why ;))
- Scissors
- Glue
- Buttons/embellishments
STEP 1:
Now, if you have a paper with pattern/color on both sides you need which you want to use, cut 8 circles from your paper. Else, like me cut 16 circles (8 in pink and 8 in blue) in two different colored papers, and then glue them (one pink with one blue). Ultimately giving you 8 circles! I told ya...the advantage of less work!! ;)
STEP 2: Folding the Petal
First, fold the circle in half.Second, Fold it further in quarter
Third, Open it and fold on the chords on two of the quarters OR just do as shown in the third pic below ;)
Four, turn it and fold in such a manned that the previous fold meet in the center. As shown in the fourth pic below.
STEP 3:
Cut a paper circle, so that its radius is a bit smaller than the length of the petals (so that it is not visible after we stick the petals on it), As shown below.
Stick the first four petals at 90 degrees.
and then add the next four in between:
STEP 4:
Add the embellishment in the center. In the picture below the glue is visible as I took the picture, while it was still wet. Once dry, it will turn transparent :)
And, you flower is ready to shine! Below I have used this flower on a Thank You card I made for my doctor! I hope he like's it! (Will soon upload a tutorial DIY on how to make this card!)
