Fabric Flower - Stocking - Lily

In continuation to my series of fabric stocking flowers, today I am posing a tutorial to make beautiful Lilies below...

Material Required:

• Stem wire for stem
• Craft wire for petals
• Stockings (Orange)
• Green tape
• Black Stamens
• Thread
• Scissors 
• Pliers 

STEP 1:
Make the petals in the shape shown below and cover them up with stockings. Make sure that once you cut the stockings no wire or thread is showing up, especially for lilies. The reason for the same you will find in Step 3.

STEP 2:
Cut the stamens from center and cover the white part of it using stockings. (Use the same color stocking that you are using for the flower). They will look like below:

STEP 3:

First tie up the stamens to the stem wire using thread and secure.
Then start adding the petals, with their tied up area facing upwards as shown in the picture below. (usually in other stocking flowers we keep this tied up side of petals downwards)

STEP 4:
Now rise the petals in order to shape it up like a Lily, as shown in the picture below.
